I really love Devon Hartford's writing style. He brings his characters to life in a way that makes it seem like you are struggling through every hardship with them, and flying high on every triumph. Victory is beautiful and talented, as a real women we can sometimes not like those kind of characters because we feel they are too unfairly perfect, but DEVON has a way of writing strong female characters who are incredibly, PAINFULLY relatable. For a male writer he really gets the sharply edged insecurity that girls feel during those post high school early adulthood years. I never realized how hard those years were on EVERY young person until I watched my oldest child and her friends, whom I had watched grow up, begin to fight their way through them. Figuring out who you are and what you truly want, and then going after it is HARD! Devon's characters have some trials to overcome that could come right out of real life. People we love die, parents can be not only unsupportive, but toxic! And no matter how talented, or beautiful, or rich you are, bad things happen to you that you have no control over. I can't wait to see what happens in Victory's story next. Bring it on, DEVON. Your readers are waiting.

Devon you ROCK!! I love this series and yes I want more Victory!! I forgot about Victory showing up in the Samantha Smith series and then it clicked when Lucas and Logan showed up! I loved this as much as I did the Samantha Smith series! Kellan and Victory are awesome together! If you read Devon's other series then you definitely will want to read this series!! I could not put it down!
OMG!!! What more to say except Devon keep writing!!!!! D I was privileged to read it before it was published and was not able to see the epilogue part of the story, so it was/is a cliffhanger for me. Devon does have planned more Victory stories, which I am holding my breath in anticipation for them....If you like these stories and haven't read the Samantha Smith series by Devon, you REALLY need to!!!
I was bummed going in to this last book thinking it was the end, only to find out that Devon Hartford has plans for 3 full length novels surrounding Victory & Kellan....cannot tell you how excited I am to hear this news, and to find out what the hell is the deal with Julian, and Layce....or who ever she is! This series has me biting my nails, yelling at my kindle screen, crying, and most of all smiling....I love it when people fall in love<3
I loved it! I wish that was enough but I have to tell you - I don't play any instruments but while I was reading this book I felt like I'm there, on a stage with Victory and Kellan.
Besides, reading about all the bands from way back when brought back memories. I grew up when those bands started!
Devon knows music, knows heavy metal, knows band's workings. He also relates to young generation of today and portrays it perfectly.
I've got to thank Devon for Aleksandra. I feel honored.
Fantastic mix of sexual tension, painful pasts and humour. All in the setting of one of my favourite music genres. Love all the characters. I could actually picture some of the scenes as if they were playing out in front of me.

Not wanting to spoil the plot, my inner voices were at times cheering as some situations were in play and especially when they turned out in Victory's favour. That girl really has terrible luck. But Kellan is a gift straight from the gods.

Can't wait for more, looking forward to it.
It just doesn't get better than this . Unless of course the author is a helluvaguy and he listens to his readers and continues with a story we are loving every every minute of. I love a man who can get into the heart and soul of a woman and show just how conflict can make her do really stupid things. And how some of us will step in you know what and turn right back around and do it again! I was a little worried at the end that Kellan was so hurt he might not choose Victory but I was quite satisfied that Devon brought
this story to the right conclusion. I'm thrilled we will see these beautiful rockers power on in life. You power on Devon Hartford
I absolutely love this series! Devon Hartford is an exceptionally talented writer who literally “takes you there.”
Victory Run Part 3 is as good as Parts 1 & 2! Victory remains strong, independent and driven. She has a plan, and sticks to it; despite all the obstacles that seem to find her. She’s drawn to Kellan and he to her, their chemistry is amazing regardless of how hard she fights it, and she really does. Victory has a new rule “either they date or they are in a band together”; she learned that lesson the hard way, thanks to Scott. (douche bag)
The end of part three opens the door to many of the unanswered questions you find yourself asking in books 1 & 2. I never saw it coming either! Why won’t Victory sing, who is Giselle, why is Scott still a douchebag –(seriously that one wasn’t really answered- he just remains a db.) What’s really up Julian’s sleeve? There is something still not right about Julian, though.
I couldn’t help but wonder if we would see Stephanie (Steph) and her kids in book 3. (I was hoping they would meet up again, perhaps at the Rock and Roll High School.) The random act of kindness and compassion she showed to Victory was really moving, especially after the night Victory had just had. Victory needed to know there are some people out there that didn’t have an ulterior motive.
You can’t help but love the characters, music, and totally feel the energy in the club as the bands takes the stage! I look forward to more VICTORY!!!
